Context

To release the season 2 faster, we remake the map Lake. The objective of the map was to be playable for the different gamemodes (Spoils of war/ Last Team Standing/ Carnage/ Gates of Fire). The previous LD already places the blockout of the bank. So, I did with base and change it for my needs.

For me the map Lake was a little bit too labyrinthine and the theme of the map [insert real name] was the forest and destruction. Like if the nature retake its rights.
I
used the destruction to close way and not lose the player through his navigation. Futhermore, the other problem of the map for me was that we are always stuck between two walls. So, the destruction helps the players with new ways, allow him to do straight navigation longer and break those straight lines it more than before.

For this map, we also introduce a new feature for the navigation, the roots. Giants roots which take a lot of place and help the players to dodge (lac and village) or gives him informations about exit/entries (in the cave mainly.)
With this season, we also
introduce the Bramble wall, so the objectives for me was to put a lot of roots in the lake to avoid the void of it. Those roots in the map are helped by the new rock in the lac, giving more covers for the players. On the other side the village doesn't have a lot because there are enough obstacle for a good challenge in term of navigation.
