Mind control take place where the technology become a huge part of the society. A lot of human upgrade some part of their body. The players control two brothers, two mercenaries who looking for new contracts to win more money and upgrade.

Deus ex Mankind divided

Deus Ex for the universe in the future where the technology take a huge place in the people's life. In this universe a problem appear, more you upgrade yourself, more the look of the people will change.

Prey 2017

This game because the game punishes the character a lot if he didn't make a really strategy (not a lot of bullet left, rush without taking is time to analyse the situation...). This fact will help the cooperation to avoid for a character to rush alone

Impulsion

The impulsion will detect the enemies in an area (even behind a wall). Besides, the impulsion come from his eyes, so if the character moves, the area detection will move with him. Furthermore, the impulsion will give to the character to see the electronics chips in the neck of the enemies in blue (to control them). The other objects show by the impulsion are the objects for the upgrade of the capacities like the electronics chips or the rest of arms, but it will only see their figures.

Manipulation

The manipulation will serve to give order to the guards for example thanks to the chip in their neck. Useful to distract the guards or kill them Stealthy. Or maybe to telling them to go somewhere.

Invisibility

For 7 seconds the character will be invisible, and no guards will see him, except if he is firing or attacking. To prevent him that he won’t be invisible anymore, the character will start to flash. If the enemies are on search mode, the invisibility doesn’t stop the search mode, the character must be hidden. Also, if he takes some damages from bullets for example, the invisibility is stop

Teleportation

The teleportation work like in portal with two portals of different colors.  The difference with portal is the choice of portal doesn’t exist, the player presses the button and the first one appears (the enter) and he presses a second time and the second one appears (Exit). The portals will disappear after 5 seconds. And the character will able to make another portal after the destruction of the two before.  It’s just possible to create them on floors, ceiling or walls.

Shield

The shield allows to the character to protect himself against the enemies’ bullet. When the character activates his shield, he can’t fire (with any weapons). The shield activate itself just in front of the character, so his back is exposed. The character must manage his moves.

Thor

The capacity Thor will give the chance to electrocute an enemy for 3 seconds (except the colossal). Until the capacity isn’t upgrade, it’s not lethal, it’s just paralyzed the enemies.

60/40

60/40

I wanted to have a real cooperation in the game, not just a game for two players. This why I decide to create two characters with different power for each character. One base more of the defensive side and another one on the attacking side. By mixing the both the two character can make some great things.

But I also wanted to give a chance for each character to play with the other side, this why I created the 60/40.

Deep Game Design

I'm working with a programmer on this project and we wanted to make the Gameplay more realist. For exemple if a soldier wears a helmet which cover the back of his head and one of the two protagonists shoots in the back of the soldier's head who wearing this helmet, it won't kill the soldier but just make fall his helmet. It's the same if one of the two heroes shoot in the leg of a soldier, he will just fall

So to explain our point I made a few graphics who explain the behavior or each enemies.

Here a little part of my behavior tree for the UAV.

And sometimes I made some situation specially for the UAV but it's just some ideas, we have to see if we put these ideas in the prototype.

The planning of the map

Planning

I want to make a map with at least 2 powers by character. The player will have the choice between the two character and the little level will be study for the 4 powers (I will make a co-op level if I find a real programmer).

But first I must finish my final scholarship project, Lycan and my Far cry map.
