Game Design part
In this Vr Game you have the basic features of a VR game.
Teleport yourself
Grab the object
The map
In the Vr you are stuck in a airship because it crashed against a building. You have to come out from it and find another generator for your airship.
I started by A 2D map of all the airship with different pictures of the different puzzles
And every time I finished a room, I made a Walkthrough to explain my puzzles to the programmer. (Read the documents if you want to see what was the idea at the base, because my job is to made a puzzle very clear and some of them change)
And every time I needed assets, so I made a list (the third and the fourth piece doesn't exist but we though about it)
During the production a few workshop have been change or delete.
For exemple for the yellow number you had to find a post-it behind a door. We wanted to win time so now the player needs to find a yellow book.
At the opposite for example, the small Russian puzzle has been delete to also win time and polish our workshop
Here is just the part which talk about the room in Game
Third Room and Fourth one (not in the game)
In these two rooms, we were supposed to use the polar gun to play with physics like magnets and the Wendigo, our monster was here to afraid the play.
The same polarity, they will push themselves between them (+ and+ / - and -)
Not the same polarity, they will attract themselves between them (+ and - / - and + )
We ran of time, so for the LD, I quickly made it in 2D on some data sheet
Meanwhile, I was making my LD in 2D then in 3D the programmer worked on the feature of polarity.
Same Polarity
Not the Same Polarity
Even some VFX was made for the cube
Here is a example of a workshop with the polar Guns
In this workshop the player must copy some diagrams on a screen three times, by pushing and attracting the cubes away to confirm the current diagram. Furthermore, the pressure plate become green when a cube is on it.
But Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to realize it. But here is the LDD I made for my Team.
